Bavarian Verein 'Alpengruen' Schuhplattlers
Established in 1932, Bayern Verein Alpengrün continues to foster friendship and gemütlichkeit ("good times") through the Bavarian Schuhplattler dancing tradition. We perform at our Spring Dance, typically the first Saturday after Easter, and the German Fest, sponsored by Federation of German-American Societies in Rochester. We also provide cultural demonstrations for schools, senior homes, etc.
